Pudsey 10k Run

We had been blessed with a cool day this week!

The train to Pudsey was quick, but we'd left it a little late, so we had to run to the start line. This was good warming up for the race ;).

At Pudsey leisure centre we got changed and were ready to rock and roll.


Unfortunately I haven't got photos of the midrace..

The atmosphere was friendly and the route was fun with lots of variety. Some of the up-hills almost killed me. 

After the race we ate our complimentary Pudsey 10k bananas and collected our freebies, including a  Pudsey 10k t-shirt!

London 10k Run

London 10k

Me and Arj travelled to Londres for the London 10k run!

 It was a great day for it, the sun was shinning and we had lots of porridge energy.

 Around 25,000 people were set to run and it definitely felt like it. We ran side by side the whole way at a nice pace. Getting water thrown on us at the water stops - fun. Also spotted one determined woman racing while pushing her baby in a pram. :D

We did a final 500m sprint. We were trying to beat a guy who had been queued in front of us at the start. Afterwards we collected our London 10k medals! And went for lunch with Arjun's family. Had a celebratory pint ;).

Fundraising Car Boot Sale

7th july 2013

 The Leicester A49 car boot was busy, the sun was shining down and stuff was selling! Me and mum had a successful car boot, selling lots of stuff from the house that we don't use anymore. In total we raised £99.50 from the items we sold. Great outcome.
